Tim Rottet

Our founder, Tim Rottet, has led a fascinating career having worked with hundreds of restaurants across the country in the past 30 years.

He is widely regarded as not only one of the pioneers in Email Marketing, but as one of the nation’s foremost authorities on Email Marketing Firms since 2001. His success has always been attributed to his constant search for ways to increase restaurant profits while further enhancing their brand at the same time.

Mr. Rottet found his true calling early in life, was graduated with a degree in Advertising from the School of Communications, University of Texas at Austin and has worked diligently to help others in his chosen field his entire career.

Encore Loyalty’s unprecedented growth serves as a testament to Mr. Rottet’s vision and the results speak for themselves. His vision for this Industry, in combination with the countless programs and partnerships he has forged over the years, are still considered revolutionary today. His youthful ambition and keen business sense was recognized early in his career when he was offered one of only 3 prestigious appointments to The Chicago Tribune following a nationwide search they conducted at major Universities from coast to coast. Following a brief, but successful career in Chicago Mr. Rottet returned to Houston and accepted the position at Southwest Art Magazine as their youngest Advertising Sales Manager in the company’s history.

The Company indeed was a success as many Independents joined us, followed by multi-unit concepts as well as many of their franchisees. Eventually as the business grew and relationships became stronger, clients would frequently ask us for our advice and suggestions about other proven marketing vehicles that Encore Loyalty would recommend. Encore has always recognized how incredibly hard restaurant owners work and how difficult it is for them to “stay on top” of all the changes taking place with respect to marketing on the Internet. Knowing that restaurant owners simply do not have the time to research these companies, we took it upon ourselves to perform the necessary due diligence. This began an entirely new chapter in our future.

Although Mr. Rottet thoroughly enjoyed working for the current owner of Southwest Art magazine, ex Texas Governor John Connally, he found himself heading to the West Coast in search of new challenges and what would define his true passion in business.

His vision for this Industry, in combination with the countless partnerships and programs he has forged over the years, are still considered revolutionary today.

It was there in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California that he first became heavily involved in the Restaurant Industry and his ultimate passion in business was realized. Tim Rottet began to consult with some of the top minds in the Restaurant Industry for Guest Informant and worked directly with iconic Restaurant Industry “legends” like Wolfgang Puck at Spago’s, Larry Flax & Rick Rosenfield at California Pizza Kitchen when they had one single location on Beverly Blvd., and David Overton at the Cheesecake Factory when he had only 3 locations and was first considering taking his concept public. There is no doubt that Tim Rottet found himself in the middle of a virtual revolution of “thinking outside the box” and seized that opportunity to both teach and learn how to play a role in redefining the principles of Marketing and Advertising in the Restaurant Industry.

Through these business relationships he made on the West Coast he discovered the true need restaurateurs have to seek advice with people they trust and respect to provide them valuable insight into their business… someone who actually can “see the forest for the trees”. Mr. Rottet realized that the time had come for him to focus all his skills specifically on the Restaurant Industry. He knew the Internet would provide all the tools he and his clients would need, stay ahead of the curve, and ride the paradigm shift that was taking place enabling restaurants to market themselves to their customers more effectively than they could have ever imagined. And, imagine he did.

Tim Rottet’s vision was to create a “Network” of all the resources available on the Internet and match that with his experience in the arts to benefit both the branding and delivery of client messages.
